Accommodation

The Beachfield welcomes everyone. We are a friendly boutique hotel, with eighteen bedrooms on two floors. On the ground floor a large comfortable seating area is centred around the bar and reception area. There is also a smaller television lounge with a wood-burning stove and flat-screen digital TV. Another small lounge, perfect for quiet relaxation, is also available for meetings and conferences, or small private functions. Free wireless internet access is available for guests own laptops- just ask reception staff for a password.

Our spacious restaurant is a great place for breakfast with a wall of windows overlooking the Promenade and a superb place to dine in style for your evening meal, with a menu changed regularly. The well-stocked bar offers a wide variety of draught, bottled and local beers as well as a good range of spirits and soft drinks. We have an extensive list of carefully selected wines by the bottle or glass.

All of our bedrooms have double-glazing, central heating and have modern en suite facilities, including bath and shower. The comfortable beds have snow-white linen, duvets and cushions. For your entertainment, all rooms have the latest remote control digital flat-screen colour televisions with DVD player. There are refreshment trays with tea, coffee and hot chocolate, hairdryers and direct dial telephones in all rooms. All of our rooms and public areas are non-smoking.

Premier rooms have king-sized beds and are more spacious than standard double rooms, with seating areas looking out over the Promenade and Mounts Bay. There are two Premier family rooms which have a double bed and a single and can accommodate an extra Z-bed or cot.

All Double and Twin rooms are at the front of the hotel with wonderful views over Mounts Bay from Newlyn to the Lizard Peninsula. We also have six smaller Single rooms without sea views.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome in all our rooms.

Accessibility at the Hotel

We have a small car park at the front of the hotel, and opposite there is a large pull-in offering free parking. On the seafront, at about 275m there is a pay and display public car park.

There are three steps leading into the Hotel. Entering to the ground floor, reception, TV room, small conference room, bar area with seating and a ladies and gents toilet, are all on this level. Five steps lead up to our dining room.

While there are no bedrooms on the ground floor, eighteen stairs lead to our first floor bedrooms - one premier family, one premier double, two twin and two singles are on the flat, with two double and a single up a further five stairs. Second floor bedrooms are up eighteen stairs and bedrooms are repeated as the first floor. Please note, we do not have a lift but staff will be happy to help with any luggage if required.
